Neuro-Inclusive
Counselling
Welcome
Welcome, I'm Lauren
If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed I welcome you to be in touch.
I draw from many theories and ways of working but my core intention is to help build transformative relationships from which you can grow, heal and experience lasting change.
My authenticity, warmth and inclusive approach help create a non-judgemental environment. Here, your whole being and experience is welcome.

How it Works

Empowered
Bespoke to your needs, we will co-create ways of working towards your desired outcomes. We will work at your pace towards goals we can identify and agree together.
My trauma-informed approach has roots in polyvagal theory, IFS, accessing regulation within the body and exploring your unique power centres and blocks to wholeness.

Safe & Supported
Being trauma-informed means working safely with you through difficult experiences with a steady and grounded approach.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) allows clarity when working with inner conflicts, long-held trauma and parts of us that have struggled to find peace.
Allowing space to safely hear from our inner tangles can begin to unlock parts of ourselves we didn't know we had.

Specialised Care
Bringing awareness to the physical body can help to help find ground and resources in the moment, as well as allowing healing from trauma patterns.
I can support you in developing the skill of listening inwards, to access your deepest wisdom and self-knowledge.
I also offer psychoeducation to share insights into our neurology and how our nervous systems play a vital role in our mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
Having a sense of how things are going in daily life is an important part of gauging how we may work in therapy. We are only able to heal from trauma when our daily lives feel safe enough. If things in the present are feeling too much, this is likely where we may begin, before safely embarking on deeper work.
About
Since qualifying in 2019 I have developed a space where we can calmly connect with your world and begin to tend to what's brought you to therapy. With warmth and curiosity I offer clear ways of working to help support your growth.
In navigating all things neurodiversity-related, while receiving my own autism identification, I took further training in neurology, the nervous system and IFS and specialised in neurodiversity for two years. With greater tools available to help detangle emotional and cognitive processes, this part of my own journey has enriched my practice to be able to meet clients of all neurotypes more fully and with greater depth.
I have a background in music and the creative industries which I draw from in the therapy space. Understanding the intricacies of creative process, I facilitate reconnection with creativity and your unique identity, with nuance and attention to the detail of what it means to really be you.

If it sounds like I might be a good fit for what you're looking for, you're welcome to book a free 30-minute intro call which gives us the chance to say hello, to see how it feels in the space and answer any questions you may have.
