About

Welcome, I'm Lauren.

If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I welcome you to be in touch.

To me, neuro-Inclusive counselling means holding a space where everyone is welcome, can feel seen and understood and is met with the human compassion we all need.

After my own autism diagnosis, training and specialism in these areas, I offer a space where belonging, acceptance and an informed environment set the tone.

My Approach

Empowered

My trauma-informed approach has roots in polyvagal theory, IFS, accessing regulation within the body (Gabor Maté et al.) and exploring your unique power centres.

Bespoke to your needs, we will co-create ways of working towards your desired outcomes. We will work at your pace towards goals we can identify and agree together.

Portrait of a Woman

Safe & Supported

Being trauma-informed means I can work safely with you through difficult experiences with a steady and grounded approach. Knowing how to slow things up and stay within a window of tolerance when working with difficult experiences means we can safely find ways to heal what is needed together.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) allows clarity when working with inner conflicts, long-held traumas and parts of us that have struggled to find peace. Allowing space to hear from our deeper places can begin to bring ease and peace to ourselves as a whole.

Specialised Care

I offer psychoeducation to share insights into our neurology and how our nervous systems play a vital role in our mental and emotional wellbeing.

I offer tools for navigating the day to day and can resource you with ways to help ground, manage overwhelm and rebuild your capacity for joy and excitement over time.

Understanding how to support intricacies of neurodiverse living, can help you live with more ease and choicefulness; in time, unlimiting your sense of purpose and dream fulfilment.
